The submitted manuscript should be copied to fjs@fudutsinma.edu.ng only. Ensure that you follow the online submission processes carefully and patiently.

Submissions are to be accompanied with the Manuscript Submission Fee. Manuscript Submission fee is a non-refundable fee in case the manuscript is not accepted for publication. Meanwhile, Publication fee will only be made after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Publication Fee (After manuscript is accepted): Thirty Thousand Naira only (₦30,000.00)

GUIDE TO AUTHORS
EDITORIAL POLICY
- Manuscripts submitted to the FUDMA Journal of Sciences (FJS) must be original and must not have been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere, either in whole or in part.
- Authors retain copyright of their published articles. By submitting to FJS, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide license to publish, reproduce, distribute, and make the article available in all formats and platforms.
- All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review.
- The journal operates an open-access policy. No part of the publication may be reproduced without proper citation and acknowledgment of the original work.
The Editorial Board makes every effort to ensure accuracy; however, the sole responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of data, results, and statements lies with the authors.
ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS
- Authors must declare any conflicts of interest.
- All studies involving human subjects or animals must comply with ethical standards and obtain necessary approvals.
- Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable and will result in rejection or retraction.
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
- File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx)
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Spacing: Double line spacing
- Margins: 2.5 cm (1 inch) on all sides
- Page Setup: A4 size, single column
- Page Numbering: Bottom center of each page
- Line Numbering: Continuous, restarting on each page
Manuscripts should follow this structure:

- Abstract (maximum 250 words)
- Keywords (4–6 words or phrases)
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgement (if any)

Title
Should be concise, specific, and informative.
Authors and Affiliations
Full names of all authors, institutional affiliations, and country. The corresponding author should be indicated with an asterisk (*) and must provide email address and ORCID iD (if available).
Abstract
A single paragraph of not more than 250 words summarizing the background, objectives, methods, major findings, and conclusions.
Keywords
Provide 4–6 relevant keywords for indexing.
Introduction
State the research problem, objectives, and significance. Review relevant literature and clearly identify the knowledge gap.
Materials and Methods
Sufficient detail to allow replication. Include study design, materials, procedures, and statistical analysis.
Results and Discussion
Results should be clear and concise. Discussion should interpret findings in relation to existing literature.
Conclusion
Summarize key findings and highlight implications and recommendations.
Figures and Tables
- High-resolution figures (minimum 300 dpi for images, 800 dpi for graphs).
- Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively with clear, self-explanatory captions.
References
Use APA 7th edition referencing style. In-text citations:
- One author: (Michael, 2002)
- Two authors: (Ogbe & Segun, 2009)
- Three or more: (Haruna et al., 2005)
